The reviewer

The reviewer of this film said that he or she couldn't understand why this film wasn't nominated for an Academy Award. #1) This was not a "big" film. It wasn't a huge budget film. #2) It was a teen film primarily. Teen films has almost always been snubbed.

I will say that this film tackles bullying, which is talked about quite a bit nowadays.
