Easy To See Why There Is Nobody Here!

Caught this on TCM last night. Should be called Plan 9 From Ronald Reagan. The plot is laugh out loud funny. Let's just say that a simple torn dress gets an insurance company AND the police involved! Do not waste your time unless you want to see a mid-twenties RR in action (and I use the term loosely).

Uh Oh....a 4.5 rating.

I forgot it was going to be on and didn't see the beginning. Watched a little bit, while setting it up for taping. The small part I did see didn't look very good, and reminded me of the beginning of "Three On A Match" (somehow)

I did see a bit of "a mid-twenties" RR in "The Cowboy From Brooklyn" and thought this might would be interesting. Have not watched it yet, but am prepared for it now anyway.... (so maybe missing about the first half wasn't such a bad move)

One benefit - it's over quickly.

mikeminetti said "The plot is laugh out loud funny." And I could not be in more agreement. It is a pathetic effort for 'drama'.

I'm no expert, but . . . .

I happen to love this movie. Sometimes you want a full meal; sometimes just a snack. This may be a snack but a tasty one.

I also love seeing Ronald Reagan and Susan Hayward in the movie together. Their time on screen is brief but nice. We have to appreciate things for what they are and in whatever doses we're able to get them.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
