Did she say what I think she said??? Spoilers

Beware....Spoiler Follows

At the very end of the movie, as the 2 couples are driving away in the taxi, they are watching the dogs out the car windows with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland watching out the back window and Rosalind Russell and Patric Knowles watching out the two side windows.

As the four turn back to into the car, laughing, Flynn grabs Olivia, says "Darling" and they begin a passionate kiss as Russell and Knowles shout objections. Flynn and Olivia break apart, look at each other in puzzlement, and then Flynn says "Sorry, Pal", as Olivia gets up to go to Patric Knowles and Rosalind Russell moves to sit on the back seat with Flynn. Both couples begin to kiss.

As Olivia is climbing past Flynn and onto Knowles' lap she says "My mistake. Bye, Errol."

Flynn's character's name was "Bob". She called him by his real name of "Errol"!

Sounded like "Errol" to me.

It does sound like "Errol"; but we're all mistaken.

I watched it with captioning and she says, "My mistake, my error."

I watch a lot of DVDs of movies and TV shows and frequently turn on the captions.

I see many, many caption errors. They are very common. Captioning is by no means a guarantee of an accurate text of what was said.

It still sounds like "Errol" to me.

A copy of the script might answer the question.

Or one could ask Olivia.

Sounded like "Error" to me. Ha ha. Good catch! I just had one try!

It sounds like, "My mistake, My error." It doesn't make any sense to be anything else.

Another thing I don't think I heard right - when Lorri's grandfather enters her room where Bob is hiding, I think he says "What the buck is this?" Did I hear that right?
