Claude Renoir and Claude Renoir Sr (ainé)

Ten years ago, I posted a message pointing out the errors in the credits of this film. I am glad to say that, in the following ten years, nearly all of these have been corrected. Nevertheless, there are still a few residual minor problems. For example, Claude Renoir is listed twice in the Camera and Electrical department, both above and then below his cousin Alain Renoir. I have deleted the second reference. I would argue that this younger Claude Renoir should be listed as Claude Renoir, as he is the important Claude Renoir, who made major artistic contributions to French filmmaking. His uncle is a minor figure in the history of French cinema, so it makes sense to list him as Claude Renoir Sr. He is sometimes listed as that (in French, the word "ainé" means "Senior") but usually, when only one Claude Renoir is involved in the production, both uncle and nephew use their name without any qualification.
In order to modify the credits of "La Bête humaine" I found it necessary to tick a box saying I was not sure, and wished to submit my corrections to the judgement of the IMDb staff. In fact, I am sure, and, in this matter, I trust my knowledge rather more than I trust the judgement of the IMDb staff!
