Kind of fun

They were in love but misguided. I thought they--the couple--were portrayed as very stupid but that didn't ruin it for me. To think they could get away with it without any better planning almost ruined it for me. Their sweet hope was pleasant to watch except when it comes down to it money, especially stolen money, can't buy happiness.

What ruins it for me is the idea they had that they weren't hurting anyone. That's not an excuse to steal something. The fact that it's not theirs is the real reason to not steal it, which somehow went over their heads.

I describe this movie as "cute". The story is silly. But it was a fun/cute movie. I'm a fan of Helen Mack and all of the other actors were good. Funny how the couple kept insisting that they "earned" the money that they stole. It's a movie with a lesson. Crime doesn't pay. I enjoyed it for what it was.

I agree with you that the couple were selfishly wrong-headed about the harm that the robbery would cause. Jimmy saying "We've earned it" is particularly annoying.
