Another missing scene question

I saw this movie about twenty years ago and seemed to remember a music/dance scene in which there was a REALLY cool harmonica solo. Am I just imagining things or was this a scene from a different movie?

During the making of "Way Out West", Stan and Babe (Oliver Hardy was known as 'Babe' to close friends) shot a cameo appearance for another Hal Roach film, "Pick a Star". Dressed in their "Way Out West" attire, the boys are seen toying with a tiny harmonica in one scene; after Ollie does an amusing solo with the instrument, he swallows it, prompting Stan to 'play' yet another song by pressing Ollie's stomach!

"Pick a Star" is pretty obscure now, but that clip was released on video in the 1980's... maybe you saw it somewhere and mixed the two movies.

As "cinefool" mentioned, I concur with his/her thoughts expressed that the scene you recall was from "Pick a Star."

In it, Laurel is playing "Listen to the Mockingbird" on his harmonica, and not to be outdone, Ollie pulls out a very small harmonica and then proceeds to play the same tune and "Yankee Doodle" before showing off and accidentally swallowing his harmonica. Stan then presses on Ollie's stomach and plays (via Ollie's stomach/lungs) "Pop Goes the Weasel."
