Mel Blanc?

When Topper gets in a fight with the cab drivers, was Mel Blanc one of them? It sure looks like him.

there IS one that looks like him, but i don't know, i don't think he's credited.

In the rather extensive filmography for Mel, which includes many uncredited roles in the 30s, Topper is not listed as one of them:

I don't know about Mel Blanc, but Ward Bond was the cabbie that Topper punches. He is also uncredited in the movie.

This was on TCM early this morning and I believe they told viewers to watch for him before the film started. However, I was half asleep at the time.

While there is a slight resemblance, it doesn't really look or sound like Blanc.
