Only 1 good thing about this movie

Lana Turner in a tight sweater!

reply

You mean two good things!

reply

^LOL i was gonna say the exact same thing.

reply

Well, they were great!

reply

Here is a powerful, thoughtful movie and all these idiots get out of it is a pair of breasts, far bigger than their brains. These jerks should stick to the Three Stooges - that is about as high as their level of understanding would reach.

reply

Oh, lighten up!

After all, it was Lana Turner, and she did have a genuine bounce in her step.

reply

About as genuine as her hair. They must have put water balloons in her bra. Lana never had that much up top for the rest of her career.

reply

Say, froberts,
Is there any way you can remember the last time that you either had some fun or barring that had anything good to say about somebody else?
Didn't think so, I suspect you would have to go pretty far back, and that's a shame, it really is.
Rich in New Mexico.

reply

Hey you PERVS...if my MATH is correct, Lana Turner was born in 1921 & this film was from 1937 (probably shot the year BEFORE), that would have made Lana all of 15 when she did this!

reply

So what?

reply

a giggle in her talk, a wiggle in her walk and a jiggle in her top. doesn't rhyme but who cares lol!!

reply

Lana Turner used to ice herself down before going on set-that might explain her size

reply

I haven't seen all of her films, but going by the ones I have seen, you never see Lana with those large size "gifts" again.

Also, I did read/or hear somewhere that Lana Turner did wear falsies (fake breasts) for her films.

I'm not sure if it was her idea or her managers/handlers.

reply

This is the movie that made us all Lana Turner fans and it was made before I was born! Sweater, saucy look, soda fountain and all!
