so i guess people have always been insane like that?

over celebrities I mean. I keep thinking things have gotten worse.. but tearing the veil off a widow at her husbands funeral? haha.. wow! that takes the cake.

I liked all the little moments were things were suggested to be going worse than they were.. like when she clearly was afraid her new agent casting director guy(forgot his name) was trying to get her to.. "earn her place".. she looks terrified sitting there and starts backing away from him, but then suddenly he turns into a father figure... i doubt it ever played out like that in real life, but that they managed to stick even the suggestion of it in is a nice touch.

Well, and of all the stories there've been about women killing themselves out of grief over Rudolph Valentino's untimely death in 1926 there is at least one that's supposedly been verified:

"The truth is that there is only one suicide that can be directly linked to Valentino. That occurred in London two days after the actor’s death. Peggy Scott, a 27-year-old actress, was found dead from poison in a friend’s flat, again, surrounded by photographs of Valentino and letters reportedly written to the young woman from the actor. Scott left several suicide notes expressing tremendous grief over Valentino’s death."

Right
insanity goes back
right to start of the Earth
when evil serpents took over

By the classic film era
humanity had peaked
no more bad behavior
except in foreign countries
or at least
until this movie proves otherwise

From here on in
you'll see
just how mean the bullies
get with J Gaynor
or G Cooper as J Doe

Bullies even attack
B Cabot on the mountain
J McCrea on horseback
or R Scott back at the corale

Just look at how mean
B Davis gets with
Poor J Crawford

And today
people have not learned
to grow up
the way they used to do
when reclaiming
good territory
from barbarian terrorists

Least some were nice back then
because they had good films
and knew how to act in them
although this one
misses the mark
with a horrible ending
and insane people
tearing the veil
off from a grieving widdow
