singing?

Does Leslie Howard sing in this film? Thanks to anyone who can help.

reply

No, Howard does not sing in this picture. There are no musical sequences, but it is a laugh-out-loud comedy.

Sweet and funny. Does this movie have a cult following and I just didn't know about it before?
It was really wonderful.

Agreed. If it doesn't have a cult following, it should. I just saw it again and was thinking I'd love to find out all the details of how this film was put together from start to finish. On the Connections page here it says this film was part of a documentary.

Yes, he actually did sing and hum "That Old Feeling" for a few seconds

From the soundtrack page:

That Old Feeling
(1937) (uncredited)
Music by Sammy Fain
Lyrics by Lew Brown
Played at the nightclub and sung by an unidentified chorus
Later sung a cappella by Leslie Howard while working
