and lost the Oscar to "Sweet Leilani", after George Gershwin had just died!

What were the Oscar voters thinking? It was one of the most bizarre decisions in Oscar history.

Great song. The movie was so-so.

I heard it for the first time recently and can't get it out of my head. It is an absolutely beautiful song.
