Blu-ray, please

This film is a classic that has been deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in its National Film Registry. As the late, great film historian Tony Thomas so eloquently put it in his book The Great Adventure Films (1976):

No story has epitomized the genre of romantic costumed adventure better than Anthony Hope's The Prisoner of Zenda. It has all the ingredients: men of honor versus men of avarice, political ambition and royal intrigue, gallantry, handsome men in magnificent uniforms dancing with lovely ladies at court balls, and all of it set in the mythical, picturesque little kingdom of Ruritania.

This film is really overdue for a blu-ray release. If it does come, let's hope it is properly restored with the overture and sepia tinting and not with the beat up print used for the DVD release.
