The chemistry between great actors Carole Lombard and Frederic March, seeing a lower skyline New York (like you'll never see it again), and seeing Carole in color! I love her movies and even though she'd have died by now in the natural order of things, I still feel sad that we (and Clark Gable) didn't get those extra years of having her around.

I really appreciate seeing CL in color. But I am still sad when I see her, especially in this film when she's flying in a small plane. There is a book about her last flight that is not only haunting but explains the reasons for the crash. A Broadway musical was made of this, called Hazel Flagg. And other versions, too. CL was so great !!!
