Chicken and Ham?
Was this a typical meal in the 1930's, to serve both chicken and ham? Or, did Mr. Cooper mean that he could offer Anna Lee chicken or ham?
shareNot sure, but I suspect it was probably typical to serve them together in the 30s (it often still is today, particularly at xmas, depending where you live). Even combining the two is not a strange concept at all. Ever heard of Chicken Cordon Bleu, or Veal Cordon Bleu? Loved the movie.
