Joe Penner in a curiousity of a film

Funniest stuff in the film is all by Joe Penner. Even with the poor material he is given, his unique facial expressions, odd voices, strange way of walking, speaking and looking and merely existing are just endless watchable.

Ann Miller is in the film and has a ice dance number, un-creatively filmed.

The talented singing Brian Sisters are totally wasted in a 3 second screen appearance.

Berle was just aggravating.

Parkyakarkus was of limited appeal to me with a character that just doesn't make me laugh much.

Harriet Hilliard - pleasant, but her squeeky thin voice is irksome.

Most of the songs are not only forgotten, but they stink.

The best number was "PECKIN'" an instrumental song with some good Jazz...and an uncredited band of black musicians.

Here is some other specialty talent in the film, but the entire outing is no more than a curiosity.
