Different story

I was curious to see this after watching "Deep in My Heart", the biographical movie about Sigmund Romberg starring Jose Ferrer. That film has the scene from "Maytime" of Jane Powell and Vic Damone singing the song "Sweetheart".

So I was surprised to find that this movie with Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddy is not the same story as Romberg's nor does it have the same score. The only song from the orignal "Maytime" is "Sweetheart".
