Mary's testimony in court

Mary lied during her testimony in court. She told the court that Vanning slapped her hard in the face, which was true. But then she stated that, Vanning ordered all the women out of the room and had Charlie and another member of the gang not only beat her, but threatened her with worse if she didn't keep her mouth shut. Now that was a lie! Yes, they beat her, but as we all know she was the only one in the room yelling and screaming for them to stop. The men never said one word to her during the beating.
