I just checked the link you posted as belonging to "Make Way for Tomorrow". I had the title translated and it translates to "Place for Young People"-
also the photo on the DVD box depicted in the Amazon listing has nothing to do with this film. I own this film and that photo is not from this movie- As far as I can see the photo appears to have Gene Kelly, Rita Hayworth and possibly Howard Keel, all of whom were not in "Make Way for Tomorrow".
I am thinking that it is one of the many mistakes that Amazon is known to make.
About 6 years ago I was able to obtain a copy on VHS that was made from a 16mm print, and I can't not watch it at least once or twice a year- Love this film-

That box cover picture is from the film "Cover Girl" (1944). It's a TCM favorite. The other guys in the picture are Phil Silvers and Edward Brophy who played the bartender. Keel wasn't in the film.

Perhaps a non sequitor...
I just watched it on a NF DVD.
Overwhelmed.
will give it to my kids.
A car dealer, a Hotel mgr,A band leader.
Hope they are there for me when my kid wobbles.
How was this film MISSED for so long!
On another note, I can't wait to see what other
silent reels surface from the South Pacific.
