One of the best funniest Comedies I've ever seen! E-VER!

I'd never heard of this movie until watching it on TCM today but I'm well aware of all the Star Players. I have to tell you that IMHO this is one of THE very best 'Laugh Out Loud' comedies I've ever seen & I'm talking about from the first filmed comedy until today 2011!! Almost every line & return is hilarioius & there's so much 'adult' hints & memorable lines/body language I couldn't even start to list them. Looked like a filmed stage play & I'm going to recommend to some of my theatrical/stage friends in my city. Pleeeease watch this movie, you won't be disappointed! p.s. Others have asked if it's available, just saw it on ebay (kind of pricey) @ around $23.00 but I have to have it...

It's available on DVD for a reasonable price from the Warner Archive now and EVERYONE NEEDS TO BUY IT BECAUSE IT IS THE GREATEST. That is all.

I enjoyed the movie but not nearly as much as you.

I found it rather tedious, especially Olivia DeHaviland's character. I gave it 6 stars by virtue of the great cast and the fascinating connections to GWTW. When Olivia mentioned Clark Gable I about fell off my chair. I wonder if that was an inside joke. Of course, Leslie Howard is always a treat.

I thought it was hilarious too and Leslie Howard was outstanding. I'd only seen him in 'Gone with the Wind' and 'Of Human Bondage' before this one, so I was surprised to see how hilarious he was. Love his role and the movie. And Olivia de Havilland is so pretty.
