I don't care what anybody says, I think Jean Arthur was the greatest actress EVER! She's my very favorite and I love her to death! Thanks! Just had to get that off my shoulders...

share ~~ What a charming movie! Too bad is not known by more people. Not only was Jean Arthur's acting superb but she was stunning and her clothes were to die for. The costume designer was Bernard Newman, I must make sure to see more of his work; http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0628020/. Loved every minute. Charles Boyer was special here too. I never found him more attractive both in his actual looks and in the way he loved Jean Arthur's character, Irene. Both their feelings appeared genuine and believable which is rare when the movie claims people fall immediately in love.
This film needs a larger following. Hopefully, TCM will play it more often. Can't wait to see it again.
