the minuet

Granted that "Little Wooden Shoes" was a cute number, although it neither added to nor took away anything from the main story, I always thought that the part where they suddenly are all dancing a minuet in powdered wigs in what looks like the court of Marie Antoinette seemed really out of place.

Thank goodness I wasn't the only one! Yeah, that part seemed REALLY random.

All the world will be your enemy, Prince With a Thousand Enemies. And whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, full of tricks, and your people shall never be destroyed.

There are those who still know- they're still home. We're still home.

You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling, I'm calling. And one day all will know...

La Vie Boheme!

LOL!! Weird and hilarious and out of place, all at the same time!

Yes, I always find myself fast-forwarding through that. ; )

Shirley looked adorable in that costume.

"I say ! Open this door at once! We're British !"

I don't find it any more out of place than the Dutch part was! After all Heidi was Swiss, and the Swiss have more in common culturally and geographically with the French than with the Dutch.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
