i can see why this series fizzled out...
Z pitts just wasn't the same imposing, clever, over-bearing pushy character that Edna Oliver was, and these last two are kind of a snooze. this one, number six on the dvd set, is very dark and hard to see.
It may be "dark and hard to see" but it's also hard to find! I have the other five MISS WITHERS films with Edna May Oliver, Helen Broderick and Zasu Pitts, but I've been looking for this one for some time. You refer to it as "number six on the DVD set" (it was the last of the series released, on September 18, 1937); can you point me to a source for the DVD set - dark or not?
