Sadie (actress Patsy Kelly) looks like....

When I watched "Ever Since Eve" on Turner, the character of Sadie, Marion Davies' roommate, looked very familiar, and I was trying to think of other old movies where I'd seen her. I finally realized that I was seeing Maggie Gyllenhaal. Patsy Kelly seemed to be Maggie's doppelgänger, even sharing mannerisms. I've undoubtedly seen Patsy Kelly in other 30s movies, but the similarity struck me in this movie. As "Ever Since Eve" hinges on Marion Davies playing a less fashionable version of herself, maybe Maggie stepped back in time to do the same.
