Love, love, love Preston Sturges!

I just love anything he does, whether he's writing or directing or both. I love the way he throws the "common man" up against the upper classes with the lower classes usually winning. So funny and so witty. I am also appreciating Edward Arnold more and more. My favorite of his was always You Can't Take it With You, but I loved him in this too. When ever I see Jean Arthur, I always think of what a cinematographer once said about her face. He said he tried to shoot her as much as he could from her left side. He said her left side was like an angel and her right side was like a horse.
