DVD?!?!!

Why isn't there a DVD of this film released? Does anyone know if one is coming?

reply

Hi from Joe. I certainly agree. It's hard to believe that with all the fine special editions coming out that Spencer Tracy's two back-to-back Oscar winners (this one and BOYS TOWN) haven't come out on DVD!
And Freddie Bartholomew is neglected on the small discs too! What about DAVID COPPERFIELD?!?!!
Perhaps some emails to Turner are in order. I believe they own the rights to these MGM films.

Warner Video is planning a DVD box set of Tracy films in 2006. I would assume that this one will be included.

I can't find any DVD for this movie in my country! I hate living here!

I bought this at Future Shop last year, for Christmas. For some reason I did not bother watching it until September, and it is now in my top 10. This is one heck of a great movie.
