But over all, even if it's well done, i miss some part of originality. This theme is a commonplace, now and then... Swanson was involved in the same melodramatic matter, as many others. It's not even a remake of La Boheme.. so question rise, what is exciting about doing such a movie, or tear-jerker ? I find Grand Hotel far superior, or similar, Letter from an unknown women (Lubitch)

You have bad judgment. Garbo overacts in Grand Hotel. Just read the ecstatic viewer comments. Here she gives arguably the most sublime performance in the history of the cinema.

And you misspell Lubitsch.
