Isn't it funny - Spoiler Alert

I always laugh at these plots that involve the bad guy setting up some elaborate scavenger hunt or puzzle that leads the hero to his demise. Yeah, I get there would be no movie without it that plot but come on. Why would they give them the chance to get away. If they're trying to take revenge and escape, it never works.

In the room filling up with gas, they would have passed out from breathing in the fumes long before they could be rescued. If there was going to be a bomb why would it be on such a long delay? James Bond has a lot of similar plots but those are a lot more fun.
