Has anyone else noticed that the woman that "Battleship" is pouring a drink for at the party has a strange resemblance to Ingrid Bergman??? Who is she?

I don't know but it seems that until 1939, Bergman was making films in Sweden. Look up Bergman here on IMDB and look at the list of her films and their dates.

I think you are thinking of the Gloria Holden character

It definitely was not her, but the "crack" sounded just like Eve Arden!!

No, Gloria Holden's character (Joan) appears with Marjorie Gateson's -- they make snotty comments and exchange knowing looks.

The complete cast listing shows Bess Flowers (uncredited) as a party guest, but I don't think she's with Battleship, based on this pic and based on her age (she was 38 when this movie was made, but the woman with Battleship looks about 28-32).
