Film Vs. Book

The film was a very good take on the book but there were a few story lines I wish they would have left in like Dave stealing from his company which leads to Helen "Whitey" getting hit by a car...it kind of disappointed me to see that wasn't left in. Over all I felt it was pretty faithful.

Thanks for pointing out this was based on a popular book by a very popular novelist of the day, Faith Baldwin. I keep meaning to track down a copy to read, also RED HEADED WOMAN by Katherine Brush, another popular novel of the 1930's made into a Harlow film.

Oooh! Thanks for this tip! I think I've heard of this book...
I happened to find my copy of Wife Vs. Secretary the book at a yard sale - it was one of the copies from the mid 40s!

Ohhhhh. I didn't know there was a book. Can you tell us more? Can you take a pic of the cover of the book?

I should've left my phone @ home cause this is a Dizastah!

Please be sure to note that you're about to reveal spoilers! It's unlikely that many people will see your thread and read the book, but nonetheless it's just good policy to alert people spoilers. Thanks.
