Entertaining Musical

RKO-Radio Films may not have budgeted quite as much for its Ann Sothern/ Gene Raymond Musicals of the 1930's as well as for those famous Fred and Ginger outings, but Ann and Gene make the best of things here, along with a capable supporting cast, to delight an audience with fine taste.

After Ann Sothern sets things in motion, Gordon Jones advances the plot as the pal of Gene's character, and Henry Stephenson and Jessie Ralph, as the father and aunt of Ann's character, take it from there to develop a fun mixture with unpredictable outcome.

"Cabin On The Hilltop"
"My Heart Wants To Dance" and
"Let's Make a Wish"
These songs each very fits nicely into this small and enjoyable musical with very capable vocals by Ann, Gene and the Beach Club chorus.

Well worth the time.
