Does anybody own the version of this serial by Platinum Disc?

I saw this serial (Undersea Kingdom) at a Superstore in Halifax for $6.98 and am wondering if anybody in the past has picked it up.

If anyone has: is the picture quality and sound quality good?

I'd appreciate any feedback anyone can give me.

I got this, the cover says Cinema Classics but the disc itself has the Platinum watermark in the lower right hand corner.

This is the first serial I've seen, so I don't know what kind of quality is expected, but it looked fine to me for what it was. A lot easier to see than my many Conrad Veidt silent movies, that's for darn sure!

You can read about Undersea Kingdom on the Thunderchild website.

I have the Platinum and Alpha DVDs and both are about equal in quality as far as sound and picture go.

Platimun presents the serial complete on one disc while Alpha sells them separately over two discs.

The differences between the two are trivial at best, but I prefer having them all on one disc for convenience' sake, so I would recommend the Platinum disc (although Alpha also included the trailer).

Thanks for the info. I already have the 2 Alpha discs and am glad to know there is no reason to expect better quality on the Platinum.
