Tough Guy - 1936 - In Defense of!

I happened to look this one up to see if others saw the final scenes like I did. Apparently not! Yes, I like Jackie Cooper and of course his dog, but Joseph Calleia did a wonderful acting job here as as well.

I too love the scene where Jackie and Curly bonded together. They were toasting marshmallows.

I was very touched at the ending that most people must have missed the significance of. OF course it was a few years ago I viewed this film, but the ending will always stay with me. In fact, Jackie was great in the ending too, as we can see his emotional pain.

I do think that Joseph Calleia was an under-rated actor and should always be appreciated for this one in his repertoire.
