I have recently bought the BFI dvd with both the ordinary version and the restored long version. I've not seen the film at all before so which version is best to watch first time, given that the restored version is made up of stills I would imagine it spoils the flow of the film.

sharetheres only 2 recent versions out officially in the uk a 92 min version from 07 and a 88 min version from 09 so where did this extended version come from ?
