scene in the country

Did anyone else think that the scene where the couple were out in the woods for the afternoon had a sort of "in" joke to the audeince? When they're making their campfire and the smoke blows up in Irene Dunne's face, she says something to the effect of "the smoke is in my eyes and it HURTS!" Maybe it's a joke on the song "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" that she famously sang in "Roberta," and how the song is very romantic but, in fact, smoke getting in your eyes can actually be quite painful. Just wondering what anyone else thought!

Yes, I noticed that and I thought it was very funny. I think it was definitely an "in joke".
