That dog looked so familiar!

Does anybody else recognize that dog from some other films from the mid- to late -thirties, or even early forties? I could swear I've seen that dog in other films, but I just can't place it now. Sadly, the dog's name is not listed in the credits.

The dog, called Jake in the movie, is called Corky, and he was owned and trained by Gale Henry East, who also trained Skippy, (Asta in the first two Thin Man movies, and Mr Smith in The Awful Truth.) Mrs East thought Corky was smarter than Skippy, but the other trainers at her kennels did not agree! Corky gets a credit (and almost a starring role) in a little-known 1934 movie called Flirtation. He's also in another Irene Dunne movie, My Favourite Wife in 1940.
