This is my favorite Astaire and Rogers Movie

I have them all and have watched them over and over since I was a kid. I love them all, but there is something about this one that I love more then the others. I don't know if it's the songs, the story or just the amazing dance numbers. But I just adore this movie!

Mine too. It really is the best of everything. I most love the moment when the kiss behind the door...they are so cute afterwards when they get caught. Haha.

I also adore the beautiful dress she is wearing in that scene. I want it for my wedding dress.

I love them all too but Swing Time has their most amazing dances, the most insanely beautiful songs and the chemistry between Astaire and Rogers is at its best - they seem madly in love with each other, absolutely magnetized by the other. It's so lovely to behold.

The story is charming but there's not that much to it. Which is fine with me, as the singing and dancing take center stage here. The film is also visually stunning: the clothes worn by both Fred and Ginger, along with the nightclub set, are breathtaking.

Helen Broderick is also a kick in the pants. I love her here too.
