Bruce Cabot in a Cameo Role?

At about 1 hour, 34 minutes into Swing Time, Fred Astaire's fiancee (the Westinghouse Studio One refrigerator woman) is packing up to go home, and a porter or bell hop walks through the scene behind her, speaking to her about her luggage, then walks off the scene. The porter looks to me a lot like Bruce Cabot, from King Kong, and his voice sounds like that, too. I tried to zoom in with my DVD control, but I can't bring up the face clearly. I wondered if anyone else there had the same impression.

Sure, it was a very minor role, and Cabot by that time had played leads, so it might be unlikely that he would consent to a bit part. But he might not have done it for the money. He might have wanted to be in a Fred Astaire movie just for the fun of it. He did have RKO connections, having been in some of their pictures before, so he probably could have persuaded them to give him a walk-on part. Any thoughts?
