That gorgous gown in 'Never gonna dance'

What a absolutely gorgous flowing gown. I would soooooooo love a gown like that, so beautiful. One of the most prettiest ever I've seen on screen.

I wonder if anyones ever done dress making instructions for any of the dresses ginger wore in any of her films, there were so many nice ones and i'm guessing to even try and create your own version it'd have to be made by hand

on youtube, theres a lady who has made the dress, exactly the way it was. its gorgous. I cant somehow post the link here, but type in Ginger Rogers swing time dress.
The gown has silk and chiffon layers underneath and with a beautiful full sweep. that's why its so swioshing and twirling in the movie. lovely and free to dance in....

Ginger Rogers wore such amazing gowns in these films. I love the dress with the feathers, the one Astaire hated so much, in Top Hat. The dress is now in the Smithsonian.

And Fred Astaire matched her, with his elegance and style. What a treasure.
