Sad-Sweet Story About this Film

In the 1970's MGM wanted to use a clip of Cary Grant "singing" from this movie for THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT and Cary hadn't seen the movie in decades and didn't remember much aout it so the studio agreed to screen the scene for him and for fun Cary Grant took his little daughter to see it for a chance to see him "young and on the big screen". Cary, so happy and fufilled in his senior years, was not prepared for the emotional impact of seeing his dear friend Jean Harlow on the screen again and did his best to hide his tears from his daughter. He later told the executives it broke his heart to recall how tragic Jean's life had been while his had been so blessed.
