What a stud this dude was.A true raconteur,his boisterous womanizing often led back to the ear of the paramour ofended.
He was beaten to a pulp coming close to loosing his life,as well as his looks.Plastic surgery was required and his career was never the same.
He along with Errol Flynn,Alan Hale Sr.and George Sanders-make todays bad boys look just like,well BOYS.
I sometimes think I was born at the wrong end of the 20th Century....what a time these men had-but longevity was not one of them.
