At about 30:36 when E Lowe's character is going up a staircase, he pauses for a moment but his shadow does not. Just to be positive I rewound and had my husband watch too. It was kind of creepy and cool at the same time. I'm not sure how that was achieved but I don't think it was intentional.
shareI think you're seeing things. You say he pauses, but his feet do keep moving. What you call a pause is his putting both feet on one step before resuming his stride, but he's constantly moving. His hands remain stationary on the rail as do the shadow's hands. Looks like his shadow to me.

I never post a comment before watching the questionable thing a couple of times and also asking my husband what he sees. In this instance it was the briefest of moments. We discussed possible reasons that may have caused it one being the camera moved following the actor and it gave the illusion of the shadow stopping. I admit it wasn't really a goof, but it was there.
