Need some clarification about the ending

How did Sgt. Bruce know where to find Marie at the end of the film? Who told him where she was? Or was he tracked down by her manager? Also, does anybody know how the story ended for her brother? Was he really turned in? Is that why Sgt. Bruce did not answer when Marie "called" for him through the Indian Love Call when he was walking away with her brother under arrest?

I think the manager sent for Sgt. Bruce. He says something along the lines of "I hope I'm doing the right thing." when Bruce enters.

As to whether or not Jimmy Stewart's character goes back to jail, yes, I think Bruce turns him in. That's his job, and he is, above all, a Mountie. He doesn't answer Rose Marie's song because he's worried that if he does, he won't perform his duty. (That's IMO)

I agree that Sgt. Bruce turns John Flower in, but I think it is implicit in the proceedings that he will probably be given the death penalty instead of be facing a jail sentence.

In regards to her brother, yes, he was taken back to jail to serve his sentence and stand trial for having escaped and killed the other Mountie. I'm glad the filmmakers didn't try to turn that situation around by claiming he was somehow not the right guy or he hadn't been the one to kill the officer.

I'm also very happy Sgt. Bruce did his job and didn't compromise his duty and values for the sake of 'love'. She was willing to overlook what her brother had done; first making excuses for him then trying to help him escape to continue his criminal ways. That says a lot about her values or lack thereof. There's no way he could have choosen her over the laws he swore to uphold.

Myerson, her manager does send for Sgt. Bruce hoping his presence would help her recover from her 'condition'. We have to assume she filled Myerson in on the details of her trip when she returned. What's not so clear to me though is, if he knew all about her having fallen in love with Sgt. Bruce, the very man who re-captures her felon brother and sends him back to the clink, why it took him so long, six months, to reach out to the sergeant and ask him to come to her. I assume she's been convalescing all that time in Canada, near where he also lives; where she's from.
