The only value here is to see Huston, who at times looks like Olivier, and Holmulka playing Kruger, and some natives dancing. Ndaniso Kumala is good as a dignified African King. The bad story, the colonialism and racism are very dated and ugly.

The colonisers brought infrastructure, train lines, telegraph, courts, aspiration, law and order and an end of to constant inter-tribal warfare and corruption.

Watching this dry movie it's not hard to see that if the British had not exploited and colonized countries around the world we would be better off today.
