@K-B:
Recorded movie, but didn't watch, yet. But I read the review.

About the insurance being $84, 000, I don't understand if you're saying like that's a lot, or a little?

You couldn't buy a house or start a business, go to school.

You could live 2 or 3 years maybe, 4 tops, but you'd still be poor. For 4 yrs., $84k/21k a yr. comes to $1750 a month. Rent, car/trans., ins., utilities, health (toothpaste, tampons, soap, aspirin), sheets, towels, underwear, laundry, furniture, and, oh yeah, Food and somethine to cook it on, eat it off of, and that's not counting the weed, or beer or whatever drug you take to forget you're so F' ing Poor! And you're back to Zero in 4 years.

It's a nice little safety net; she could go live with her mother in France - not something I would want to do, given the times - but she wouldn't be set for life. She'd still need to work, probably even in '39. And she's single.

Just Imagine,
How many working families of 3 or 4 are living, today, on $20k yr? It's called Poverty, and it's killing our nation.

$84, 000 sounds like a lot, but for insurance, it's spit.

Sorry.
I had no idea that I was going to go a rant, I was just asking a question.
Must have a lot of pent up rage in me.
Good thing I wasn't driving!
(Also, not an ins. salesman. )

It is not a small fortune, by today's standards, but it is hard to get that kind of money all in one place.

She can move to LA and get some acting classes. You can go to community college and get an associates degree, you can buy a used car and still make the next two years contribution to an IRA etc. All for $84,294.00-even!

If you are going to sit around the house and "live off it" you would be correct.
