I'm gonna take you on a sleigh ride with some snow birds.

yes, it's a movie about cocaine, "The Kid Catcher."

Why do people watch these films as if they are anything but propaganda. The current review on the film's home page is ridiculous.

This is a cautionary film with dialogue intended to tell a story while the characters talk to each other. High comedy; High propaganda. It's actually not all that bad for an early cautionary-tale genre film.

Eddie is sleeping in the park now. Poor Eddie. He gots to have shot. Don't even think about offering him doughnuts.

oh those corny hopheads,

I would tell you the whole story but I might puke if I did. --Holden Caulfield

Of course, it was propaganda. Most people know that, don't they?

Why, thank you. (blushes) There was really nothing impressive about what I said.
I guess I was wrong about everyone not knowing that this was propaganda, since there were comments warning people of how silly these types of films are.
I'm just glad that you're here to let everyone know what they really are!

I agree. You made your comment. I made mine. Now tuck your shirt in, wipe your nose, and let's shake hands! No need to be testy!

If I sounded as though I was being a smart a$$ in my first post, I apologize. I simply did not understand why you felt the need to point out the obvious.
People are naturally going to point out the fact that this film and others like it, are funny by today's standards. Most people do realize that theses films were anti drug propoganda in the 1930's

As for my second post, yes. I was being a smart a$$.

As for getting a life, I'll get right on that.
