"They're old friends." (Godfrey's reply when Angelica asks him if he's seen pixies, too.)

something like "don't worry, Godfrey will take care of those nasty old faints", when he's getting ready to put Irene in the shower.

too many good quotes to list! (I loved the "money money money" quote, too!)

And Godfrey when the cops come into his room and ask if he'd mind if they search his room - "Am I lost?"

And Molly responding to one of the cops calling her sister "If I thought that were true I'd disown my parents"

at the hotel after Godfrey gives his "speech":

"The man is perfect! I've been wanting to say that all night, but I haven't got the nerve."

after Irene says something like, "oh, my uncle has allergies! (i can't remember exactly".
Godfrey: "Yes, well, we'll try to overlook that startling coincidence"

Godfrey when trying to think of something compimentary about Mrs. Bullock:
"I find Mrs. Bullock at all times to be, shall we say, amusing?"

at the dinner table, Mr. Bullock: "leave her alone. Carlo is eating enough for the both of them"

it goes on and on. i love this movie and can watch it over and over and still laugh.

That's my favorite as well...the shower one. Makes me laugh every time...the way Carole Lombard says it is priceless.

At the dump with Tommy Gray:

Not to go on before I add my 2 cents worth here, but this movie is adorable and hilarious! I found this movie and Life with Father on a DVD, and I love them both. The plot is what interested me at first, but I really got into the movie right away, which is a plus for me.

Now that I have ranted and raved about the movie, must say two of my favorite quotes are from the mother. One, while Carlo is playing the piano and singing-I'm just going to spell this how it sounds to me-"Ichichoro", and Mrs. Bullock talks about how she likes the fact the song has the same words, and how if the Star Spangled Banner were like Carlo's song, it would be easy to remember. I also like when Irene comes in the living room while Carlo is reading poerty to Mrs. Bullock, and when Irene leaves right away, Mrs. Bullock says, "You know, sometimes I wonder if my children are all there.." Like it has been said before, there are some many great quotes from this movie, that I cannot type them all. LOVE IT!!

I beleve the name of the piece Carlo is playing is "Ochichonye," or spelling something like that. Its a traditional Hungarian piece. If you're intrigued, check out the original version of the film "The Shop Around The Corner," with Jimmy Stewart. The piece is played, mentioned, and spelled in that film.

Ochi Chornii is a very famous Russian folk song, not Hungarian.

It is to Russia what "La Vie en Rose" or "Frere Jacque" is the the French

The name of the song means "Dark Eyes" or "Black Eyes" By no means is it Hungarian
