I have now seen 3 chaplin movies

Gold Rush,Modern Times and City Lights and I dont see why these are concidered any good.I didnt like neither of them very much and was bored.I gave them a 4

Stick to watching your Hollywood blockbusters kid. Every film of chaplin are considered one of the greatest films ever made...

Chaplin is overrated. If you're interested in good comedy films of the 1920s (the decade in which Chaplin produced most of his films) watch Buster Keaton or Harold Lloyd. Chaplin doesn't even rate in the same league with them.

Or Laurel & Hardy - I much prefer them, too. I do like Modern Times and Monsieur Verdoux quite a lot, but otherwise am not a fan of Chaplin’s sentimental mugging.
