Miramar Hopkins gives a deplorable performance

Men Are Not Gods is not a good film, being uneven in many respects, but I was most surprised with Hopkins' unfortunate performance. She may not be one of my favorite actors as I find she tends to overplay the roles given to her, but this performance was truly lamentable. I watched the film through to the end because I kept hoping Rex Harrison's part would expand, and some of the other actors were enjoyable. Mostly, though, watching this film was oddly fascinating because of Hopkins. She was so awful she made the film fun to watch.
