The performances of Freddie Bartholomew and C. Aubrey Smith in this movie couldn't be more spot-on flawless. It's like those wonderful actors ARE Ceddie and his grandfather. What beautiful and touching performances.

Aubrey was as perfect as any casting can get, the best parts of the film I think.

Nobody could drop a monocle raising his eyebrow like ol' Aubrey!
