I can't believe there are hardly any comments on this amazing film! This is one of the absolute classic screwball comedies and what an amazing cast!

I'll give you a comment.

An unkown gem and my favourite movie of all time. Seen it about 50 times - know most of the dialogue, off by heart.

Can't see why this movie is not better known or more popular? It was nominated for best picture!

Four great stars, witty dialogue plus tons of charm = one great movie.

In my opinion, this is a far better movie than many of the more well known pictures of this type, from the 30's and early 40's. Like...........well, how about the "Philedelphia Story" - one giant bore if you ask me, so dull, I couldn't finish the movie.....or, how about, "Ninotchka"........another dull fest.

Libeled Lady is a must for anyone who likes sophisticated comedies from the 30's.

I saw this film for the first time two days ago and I LOVED it! Myrna and Powell are so great together and Powells fishing sequence is laugh out loud funny. The bit where he plunges into the water while he's looking at his book always reminds me of Hepburn and Grant when the fall into that stream in Bringing Up Baby.

It has some really poingnant scenes too and the acting all around is wonderul. A very enjopyable film I wish it was more well remmebered.

Harlow was a the top of the heap, her stardom and her element in this comedy. An instant classic.

Not a lot of people are aware of the "screwball" comedies. I absolutely love them. Would rather watch them, especially the Cary Grant, Clark Gable, William Powell films than see anything in the theaters today.
